One of the great things when using Android-based smartphones like the Galaxy SIII is that you can download and install a thousand of free app easily through Google Play Store or other sources.

One of the free apps that might need to be installed on your Galaxy SIII is Adobe Flash Player app or often called as a plugin. These apps will allow you to be able to play Flash files or view Flash-based websites through the browser on your phone.

How to install Flash Player?
Due to Adobe Flash Player is no longer available in the Play Store, then first you have to set your phone to allow installing apps from source other than Play Store. As written on webcazine.com, here are the full steps you need to do:
  1. Go to Settings through Home screen.
  2. Scroll down until you find Security, then tap on it.
  3. Check Unknown source option to allow your phone installing apps from sources other than the Play Store.
  4. Tap on the OK button to confirm.
  5. On your phone's browser search for "archived flash player versions" then tap on the first site on the result page or you can directly go to this link.
  6. Here you can find and select the latest version of Flash Player.
  7. Wait until the download is complete.
  8. Open the notification panel then tap on Download complete notice to install Adobe Flash Player apps on your phone.
  9. Finish. Now Adobe Flash Player has been successfully installed on your phone.

Well, now after you were successfully installed the Flash Player on your Galaxy SIII, now you can view any your favorite Flash-based site. But, as a note Chrome browser does not support Flash and some of another browser may require you to enabling the plugin or flash support in the browser settings so that apps can work. Whatever it is, try this useful apps then share your experience here through the comment below :)

    1. Hi Onyee Braswell,
I've read many similar issue with yours in many forums, some of them can fix their problems by uninstalling flash then boot into recovery mode (hold Power button, Home button and volume up button simultaneously) and clear dalvik cache (in advanced menu). Once you've finished, reboot and reinstall flash.
      Hope it helps :)

Are you using Jelly Bean or ICS on your phone?
And you may want to try downloading the older version of Flash Player, such as this version:Flash Player 11.1 for Android 4.0 (11.1.115.54) and see whether it helps :)

If you're using any file manager apps on your Galaxy S3, such as ES File Explorer or Astro File Manager, then try to go to the download folder and see whether there is an apk file or not?
If so, you should be able installing Flash using this files. If not, then you can try to download the apk file here:http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/installers/archive/android/11.1.115.63/install_flash_player_ics.apk then try again installing flash apk file on your phone.

yes, I've said to choose the latest version. But, some users said that they failed to install it. So, if you do failed installing the latest version, then try to install the lower version (11.1.115.63) as I've said to Johnathan Burnham in his comment right above you.

Try to clear your browser cache. Also if you use any file manager app (such as ES File Explorer or Astro File Manager)on your phone, then go to the download folder and remove .apk file associated with the Flash Player you've just downloaded. Once you've finished, try to re-download Flash Player through the browser.
      Hope this helps :)

Can I conclude that your Flash stopped working after updating your Android to Jelly Bean? Am I right? Which version are you using now? Some of Galaxy S3 users said that they were unable to run or installing Flash after updating to Jelly Bean. So, try to uninstall then reinstall Flash using the lower version (such as:11.1.115.63) then see whether it works.
      Hope this helps :)

    1. Hi Jessica Pate,

Does your phone run with Android 4.3? Well, if you have tried to install any Flash version for Android but have no luck. Keep the Flash player runs on your phone and then download third-party Browser app that support with Flash player(eg. Firefox or Dolphin browser). FYI, this day, I noticed that the stock browser app on my S4 with Android 4.3 has no option to enable plugins(while in my Tab 2.7 with Android 4.0 I can find the plugins option), so I suspect that it causes the Flash doesn't work on stock browser with Android 4.3, then I download Firefox browser app(after install it, go to Settings in Firefox then select Display, tap Plugins and then select Enabled) and now, I'm able to view the web page which is contain Flash using Firefox browser.
      Hope this helps :)

Make sure you have checked "Unknown sources" in the security settings. Also make sure you have downloaded it completely. You can see the file size to make sure the file is not corrupted. Or, you can try to re-download that version or download other Flash version.
