Aside from letting you block incoming calls from unwanted or unknown numbers with the call blocking feature, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge also lets you restrict outgoing calls by using the fixed dialing numbers or FDN feature so your phone can be used to make a call to those who have been added to the FDN list only.


How to use fixed dialing number feature to restrict outgoing calls?
You can do so by using the following steps:
Open the Phone app.Tap More at the top right and then select Settings.
Tap More settings.
Tap Fixed dialing numbers.
To turn on this feature, tap Turn on FDN and then enter your PIN2 followed by tapping the OK button.
FYI, each phone number has different PIN2. If you don't know your PIN2, you can get it from your service provider.If you'd like to change your PIN2 for easier access to FDN feature, use these steps:
Tap Change PIN2.
Enter your old PIN2 and then tap OK button.

By default, your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge will show your phone number in outgoing calls. If needed, you can set your phone to hide it so you can make private calls when you have to make a call but don't want the one you call knowing your phone number.


How to hide your phone number in outgoing calls?
You can do so by using the following steps:
Open the Phone app.Tap More at the top right and then select Settings.
Tap More settings.
Tap Show my caller ID and then select Hide number.
Now, your phone will hide your phone number in outgoing calls so your call will be private.
Please note that in some models, this feature may be disabled or unavailable. Thus, if you cannot find this feature in your phone, you can use the hide number code that you can get from your service provider as the alternative way to hide your phone number in outgoing calls.

If needed, you can enable the call waiting feature in your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge to have your phone alerts you when there's an incoming call while you're in an active call so you won't miss any important one. You can do so by using the following steps:

Tap Call-reject messages.
To add a new call-reject message, enter the desired message in the Enter message field and then tap .
You can add up to 6 call-reject messages .To remove an existing call-reject message, tap next to the required message you want to remove.
To edit an existing call-reject message, tap a message to make the required changes and then tap Save button to save the changes.
