What is IMEI?
For those of you who do not know about the IMEI, IMEI acronym for International Mobile Station Equipment Identity. IMEI is usually a series of numbers printed on the backside of your phone's battery.

So, why do we need to know our phone's IMEI? Yes, we need it because the IMEI number can be used to deactive the phone when it is lost or stolen. Of course this is a simple thing that you should know as a precaution when you experience unwanted situation on your Samsung Galaxy SIII.
How to get the IMEI number on the Samsung Galaxy S3?
You can follow the easy steps below to get to know your phone's IMEI, as written on ilaks.com:
- Tap Phone icon on your Home screen. Or you can go to Apps through Home screen then tap on Phone.
- Tap on Keypad tab.
- Enter *#06# then press the call icon.
- Your IMEI number will be displayed on your phone screen.
