But, in addition to the advantages mentioned above, it also carries considerable risk to you. If it is configured poorly it is very susceptible to brick your device. Indeed it's very easy to enter download mode, like everything else we do with this great phone, but given the risk that you might get you need to be very careful and always follow the instructions and all the steps before you start flashing your device. You'll also need to boot into this mode when you want to install CWM Recovery on your phone which will allow you to boot into recovery mode.

This mode can be extremely vulnerable to damage your device if you are not careful and do not follow the instructions correctly. In addition, when you are flashing the device means you will void the warranty. So, you really have to understand the risk of what you might receive before you do this on your device.

If what you mean is flashing the phone, yes It will erase the data on the phone. So, backup the data first before you flash the phone.

    1. Hi Ben,
      Thanks for coming.
Did you mean that you forgot your lock screen password and want to factory reset your phone?
If so, there are some ways that you can do to unlock the screen lock aside from resetting your phone:
      1. Find the forgot PIN screen
When you enter your PIN 5 times or so, usually you'll see the forgot PIN button on your screen. Tap the button and you'll be asked to enter a Google account related with your phone. It'll allow you to unlock the screen.
      2. Open Google Play Store through PC using Google account related with your phone and then install the Screen lock bypass Pro app(here's the link:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.thomascannon.screenlockbypass.pro) and then install any app. It'll trigger your phone to unlock the screen.

    1. Hi TIBOEGNAN ELIJAH,
      Thanks for coming.
In Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, there's a feature named auto restart. When it's enabled, your phone will automatically restart at the scheduled time. Go to the backup and reset menu in your settings menu to find the auto restart menu. If you don't like your phone to auto restart, you can disable this option.
