Samsung Galaxy S3: How to Change Phone's Date and Time

By using the Samsung Galaxy S3, you can do many things with it and customize this phone according to your needs and requirements. By use this device you can customize its home screen up to change its languange.

How to set the date and time?
As written on videotron.tmtx.ca, here are the steps to change the date and time on your Galaxy SIII:
  1. Tap on Menu key on Home screen.
  2. On the pop up menu select Settings.
  3. Scroll to the Date and time option, then tap on it.
  4. By default in the Date and time option are set automatically by the network you are using. If you want to disable this option then remove the tick on the checkbox next to Automatic date and time option.
  5. Tap on Set date.
  6. Here you can determine the appropriate date by using the arrows to change the date, then tap on Set button.
  7. Tap on Set time.
  8. Here you can determine the appropriate time by using the arrows to change the time, then tap on Set button.
  9. Finish. Now the date and time on your phone has been changed.

  2. When I change the time in the setting buttons then tap set, the time on the main screen is wrong but in the top right corner it is correct. What do I need to do?

      Thanks for coming.
      Did you want to say that once you changed the time settings, the time on the status bar was correct but in the weather widget was incorrect?
      FYI, the time on the status bar depends on the selected time in the date time settings, while the time in the weather widget on Home screen depends on the city that is being displayed in the widget.
      So, the conclusion is to make them have the same time, make sure the city that is being displayed in the weather widget is the same as the selected city in the time zone option in the date time settings.

  4. I want to get rid of roaming... I went overseas a few weeks ago and i wanted to unlock my phone from the mobile carrier i wa previously using and they changed the time settings to be in that country and now that pops as my home but im from australia... Please help me out..
