  2. Long tap one of the email message you wish to select until the email message is highlighted as a sign that it has been selected.
  3. Tap another email messages you wish to select with a single tap to make multiple selection.

Method #1: Delete Home screen
Try to delete Home screen using a common methods as listed below:
  1. On Home screen, tap the Menu key then select Edit page, or pinch the Home screen to display all of your Home screen in a single page.
  2. Tap and hold the desired Home screen you wish to delete, then drag it to the trash can icon.

Method #2: Change the animation scale value
If the first method is not works. Try to change the animation scale value under the developer option menu. Here's the step:
  1. Go to Settings then select Developer option.
  2. Depending on your current settings, turn off all animation scale option if previously you have set it to certain value. While if previously you have turn them off, then try to set them to certain value, such as 1x or 5x. FYI, more higher the value more slower the phone.
  3. Restart the phone.
  4. Once the phone is up, try to delete the desired Home screen by using the step as mentioned in the methods #1.
  5. Once you finish, you can change back the animation scale value.

Method #3: Disable developer option
The third step that you can do is by disabling the developer option menu by following the steps below:
  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Tap Developer option.
  3. Turn off the developer option by sliding the slider next to the developer option to the left.
  4. Restart the phone.
  5. Once the phone is up, try to delete the desired home screen by using the steps as mentioned in the methods #1.
  6. Once you done, you can re-enable the developer option menu.

Method #4: Set Home screen as home page
A user in Androidcentral forum has reported that he finally be able to solve this problem by this step:
  1. Pinch the Home screen to display all of your Home screen in a single page.
  2. Tap the Home icon in the screen you wish to delete to set the screen as the home page, then tap and hold the screen then drag it to the trash. To delete more home screen, simply by repeating this steps.

Method #5: Clear TouchWiz Home data
The next possible step to do is by clearing the data of the TouchWiz Home. But, you should remember that this step will erase all of your Home screen settings. If you don't mind with this, then here's the step to do so:
  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Tap Application manager.
  3. Swipe to the All screen.
  4. Find TouchWiz Home, then tap it.
  5. Tap Clear data button followed by tapping OK button to confirm.
  6. Restart the phone.
  7. Once the phone is up, try to delete the desired Home screen by using the step as mentioned in the method #1

Method #6: Use another third-party launcher

    • Re-enter your Pattern and then followed by tapping the OK button.
    • Tap the OK button.
  15. The Face and voice unlock methods has been activated.

How to disable Face and voice unlock method?
For any reason, if you want to disable the Face and voice unlock, then kindly follow the steps listed below:
  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Security.
  3. Tap Screen lock.
  4. Enter the PIN twice to change the lock screen settings.

Basically, the step above is the same as the step when you add pause to existing contact. The different is you can do this steps without having to save the set of number or adding the pause to the contact. So, hope this helps :)

    • Now, when you call Rehan, your phone will wait for 2 seconds before the phone continue dialing the next set of number after comma.
  7. Add wait to contact
    • Tap Wait to add a wait. This will displayed as a semi-colon (;). For example, if the standard call in 888-444-111, but Rehan was in 234, then in Rehan's contact: 888-444-111;234
    • Tap the Save button to save the changes.
    • Now, when you call Rehan, you will be prompted with a box to enter a number or press a key to tell the phone when to continue dialing the next set of number after the semi-colon.

By knowing this step, now you can much more easier to call the persons who have phone number with extensions or you can much more easier to call the phone number which require you to type in the PIN or password, such as when you want to access a voice mail or call another automated call systems. Yap, the developer menu option is actually intended for the developers purposes, so if you're a basic user then better you leave them in default to avoid you experience an unexpected situations. For example, some users said that their phone displays the flashing red border around the screen and thinks that it's a problem. Apparently, this is because they were accidentally activate the strict mode option under developer option menu. The strict mode is used to inform the developers when the apps perform long operations on main thread by displaying a flashing red frame around the screen. Below are the steps you need to do:
  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Tap Account and sync.
  3. Tap your Google account.
  4. Uncheck the checkbox next to Sync Picasa Web albums to stop the device sync with Picasa web albums .
  5. Go back to Settings menu.
  6. Tap Application manager.
  7. Swipe to the All screen.
  8. Find the Gallery app, then tap it.
  9. Tap Clear data button followed by tapping the OK button to confirm clearing the data. You don't need to worry, this process will not make you lose any picture.
  10. Now, you can try to open the Gallery app and let it to refresh. The Picasa album should not appear in the Gallery app.

For the record, this steps only stop the sync process between the device and Picasa web albums to make the Gallery not displaying the Picasa album. All of photos that you already synced with the Picasa web albums still remain there. You can access them through the Picasa web from the Browser app. So, hope this helps :)

    • Find a Facebook app, then tap it.
    • Tap Clear Data button followed by clicking the OK button to confirm clearing the data.
    • Tap Back button.
    • Find Gallery app, then tap it.
    • Tap Clear Data button followed by clicking the OK button to confirm clearing the data.
  2. Remove Facebook account from sync settings.
    • Go to Settings.
    • Tap Accounts and sync.
    • Tap your Facebook account.
    • Tap the Remove account button followed by clicking the Remove account button to confirm deleting your Facebook account.
  3. Sign in back into Facebook
    • Open Facebook app.
    • Sign in back to your Facebook by entering your user name and password.
    • Once you're in the sync settings screen, make sure not to check any syncing of pictures option.
  4. Now, Open Gallery app from the app drawer.
  5. The Facebook gallery should no longer appear on the Gallery app.

You can use one of two methods mentioned above to remove Facebook photos from Gallery app. For the record, the first method only serves to filter the content that is displayed on your Gallery with Facebook gallery keep in sync with your phone, while the second method will completely deleting Facebook photo from the Gallery app and will not sync the Facebook gallery with your phone.   5. Now, you're ready to browse the webs by typing in the URL in the address bar to navigate the web you wish to visit. While you using this mode, all of the webs you open will no longer appear in the Browser history, the files downloaded will not record in the download histories and cookies will not be saved once you closed the page.
  6. To use the regular mode, tap Thumbnails of active browser windows icon and then select a web page which is not using the incognito feature.

By knowing how to use incognito feature, now you can make the browser app not to record your browsing activities which means you have no need to clear the browser cache and history manually as what you do when you use a regular mode. So, hope this helps :)

AFAIK, there are two possible ways to fix this problem. Here they are:
I. Disable the option Do not keep activities
The first methods is by checking the Do not keep activities option to see whether it's enabled. If so, you need to disable it by following the steps listed below:
  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Scroll down to Developer options, then tap it.
  3. Uncheck the checkbox next to the Do not keep activities option to disable this option.
  4. Now, restart the phone.
  5. Once the phone is waked up, the wrong displays on Messaging app icon should be fixed.

II. Remove the Messaging app icon then add it again
Yes, you can also fix this problem by removing the Messaging app icon and then add it again to your Home screen. Then the marked number in Messaging app icon should be removed.

Import exported .csv file into Gmail contacts
  1. On your computer launch the web browser by clicking the browser icon on the desktop or access it through the Start button then all programs.
  2. On the browser address bar type gmail.com to navigate to Gmail and then sign in using your Google account associated with your device.
  3. On your Gmail, click Contacts.
  4. Click More.
  5. In the drop down menu select Import.
  6. Click Choose File to select the .csv file that you've just exported from your Blackberry.
  7. Click the Import button.
  8. Finish. Now, the .csv file has been imported into your Gmail contacts.
  9. Sign out from gmail.com

Sync Gmail contacts with the Samsung Galaxy S3
  1. On your Galaxy SIII, go to Apps through Home screen.
  2. Scroll to Settings, then tap on it.
  3. Tap Accounts and sync.
  4. Tap your Google account.
