Well, due to this blog usually discusses about Samsung Galaxy SIII, then here I'll share about how to fix this problem in this phone. However, I believe that this steps also can be applied to another Samsung Galaxy devices, including with the Samsung Galaxy Grand.
How to fix grayed out the ripple effect option?
Basically, this problem is occurs when your phone use live wallpaper. Live wallpaper usually will deactivate the ripple effect, though you have activate it before. So, the possible way to fix this problem is by changing the wallpaper on your phone to the static one. You can either use the default static wallpaper from the Samsung or use your own picture as the wallpaper.
