Under developer option, there is an option called show pointer location. First time I did notice this option after one of the reader here said that in her phone there is a grid line that following her move.

How to show or hide pointer location?
To get rid or to show grid line of your pointer location, kindly follow the steps listed below:
  1. Go to Apps through Home screen.
  2. Scroll to Settings, then tap on it.
  3. Scroll to Developer option, then tap on it.
  4. Depending on your current settings, tap Show pointer location to enable or disable this option. When the checkbox next to this option is ticked means this option is turned on.
  5. Tap Home button to return to the standby mode.

Well, actually I don't know exactly what's the function of this option. But, some of Galaxy SIII users reported that they were annoyed by the grid line that following their move and they didn't know what causing it. So, by knowing the effect of enabling this option, now you can get rid such an annoying grid line from your phone by disabling this option if you were accidentally enabling it.
