One more thing that you can do to customize the contact is by adding another field available to provide more information on those contacts.

How to add another field on contact?
Below are the steps to do so:
  1. Go to Apps through Home screen.
  2. Tap Contacts.
  3. Tap Contact tab.
  4. Tap the required contact you wish to add another field.
  5. Tap the Menu key then select Edit.
  6. Tap Add another field button at the bottom area of the contact.
  7. Now you'll see available field of information that you can add, such as phonetic name, organization, email, address, IM, address, note, nickname, website, internet call, event and relationship.
  8. Tap the required field.
  9. Fill the field with the required information.
  10. To add more field, repeat from the step no #6.
  11. Tap Save to save the changes.

By adding another field, now you can add more information on certain contacts. For the record, you should save the contact on phone to be able to do so.

    1. Hi Andy,
      Thanks for coming.
CMIIW, all options under another field can't be set up as default field, either when you create or edit a contact therefore you have to tap "Add another field" button first if you want to fill up organization or other options under another field.

    1. Hi Andy,
      Thanks for coming back here.
I'm so sorry I can't help you. I also will be happy to know how to set up one or more options under another field as default if possible.

  3. I have a Samsung S3 and I do not have the option of 'Add Another Field'. I can only edit existing number or add a new contact.

    1. Hi Suzanne Loporto,
      Thanks for coming.
The "Add another field" button only available for those that have been saved in the device/phone memory or in the Google/Samsung account. So, make sure the contact you want to add additional information to has been saved in phone or Google/Samsung account.
