Once you've downloaded and installed apps, in order to make them stay work properly then you need to update them regularly with the newest update available. Fortunately, there is an option in Play Store which will allow you to set the phone to automatically update all or certain applications you were installed on your phone.
How to enable or disable auto-update all apps?
Below are the steps you need to do to automatically update all applications:
- Go to Apps through Home screen.
- Tap Play Store.
- Tap the Menu key then select Settings.
- Tap Auto-update apps.
- Tap the desired option you wish to use to update the apps. There are three option available:
- Do not auto-update apps.
- Auto-update apps at any time.
- Auto-update apps over Wifi only.
- Tap Home button to return to the standby mode
How to automatically update certain apps?
Below are the steps to do so:
- Open Google Play Store
- Tap the Menu key then select My apps.
- Tap the desired apps.
- Tick the box next to "Allow automatic updating" option to enable this option.
- Tap Home button to return to the standby mode.
By knowing these steps, now you can choose which the methods do you like best, update automatically all the apps or a certain apps. So, hope this helps :)
