Aside from set limitation of your data usage, here you can also viewing the data usage per apps. This of course will help you to know which application is using a lot of data and which uses less data
How to view data use by apps?
Below are the steps to do so:
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Data usage.
- Here you can determine the time period of the data usage you wish to view by tapping the data usage cycle field or tap and drag the White bars in the graph to adjust the time period of the data usage. The selected time period will be displayed under the graph.
- Swipe the screen up then you'll see a list of apps and the data use in each of them.
By knowing how much data use by the apps on your phone, now you will know which the apps are using the large amount of data and the apps are using the less amount of data, then you can use this information to manage the data usage more better.
Dear All,
ReplyDeleteI would like to know how to clear the records of the data usage.
Currently I have a Samsung Galaxy S III.
Under "Connections"> "Data Usage:
I will be able to see the data used by the apps.
Example:
Chrome: 53.5mb
Google Play Store: 12 mb
Maps: 10 Mb.
Yahoo Messenger: 5 Mb
What I would like to do is to be able to individually select and clear/reset the records. Example: I want to clear the data usage record of the Chrome. How do i do it?
Thanks in advance.
Hi Eddie,
DeleteThanks for coming.
As far as I know, the data usage automatically resets at the end of your billing cycle. And of course, if you don't mind performing factory reset, it'll reset your data usage, but please note that it'll also erase all of your data, settings, third-party apps.
