For some reason, you may need a screenshot of your Android phone. Suppose you want to share about how to set the app or anything on your phone with your friends. Yes, previously to take screenshots on your phone sound like a difficult thing and you may need to use a third-party app to do this. But, with the launch of the operating system Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, it could be something that you could possibly do. Of course you can also do the same in the latest version of Android.

Taken from the site, There are two easy ways to take a screenshot on Samsung Galaxy SIII. Let's check them out.

The First Easy Way
You can do this thing easily by following these steps:
  1. Go to Settings -> Motion.
  2. Scroll down until you find the Hand Motion. Tick the option Palm Swipe to Capture.
  3. To see results you have to exit the menu and position your hands like when you chop something and then swipe it accross the screen. After that you will hear a camera shutter and receive notification tell you that the pictures have stored in the gallery.

The Second Easy Way
You can take screenshots on your Samsung Galaxy SIII by pressing the power and home buttons simultaneously until you hear the sound of a camera shutter. Then you will receive a notification tell you that the pictures have stored in the galley.

Pretty easy, right? Thanks to Android ICS and above for giving us the ease to do it. And the good news is that both the above methods you can also apply for the Samsung Galaxy Note II, and the second method can be applied also to the Samsung Galaxy SII.

Well, do you have tried this feature on your phone?? If so, let me know by writing them via the comments below :)

    1. Hi Preston Millerd,
      Thanks for coming.
CMIIW, you're only allowed to disable screenshot which is using motion(as I mentioned in the first way in this post), but you are not allowed to disable screenshot which is using combination of the Home and Power button(it's the basic ability that has been brought by this phone).
