  1. Perhaps due to a software update, my samsung galaxy s3 does not show disabled apps at the bottom of the 'all' tab, but instead has a separate 'disabled' tab. When I tap the app I want to re-enable, there is no option to do so. Any ideas?

    1. Hi Holly Taylor,
      Thanks for coming.
Yes, you're right. in Android 4.3, all disabled apps will be shown in the separate tab (turned off tab / disabled tab). Tap the disabled app under Turned off/Disable tab and then tap "Enable" or "Turned on" button to re-enable the app. By the way, can you please tell me what's app you wish to re-enable?

    1. Hi Peyton Nunn,
      Thanks for coming.
Did you disable the Internet app in the past and then you couldn't enable it again? Is the "Enable" button in the app info grayed out? Can you find this app in the apps menu?

    1. Hi Peyton Nunn,
Just to make it clear, I've just checked in both my phone, the Internet app is one of the stock app that can't be disabled. So, I think you have only managed to hide that app accidentally. To check this: go to Apps menu from the Home screen, tap the Menu key and then select "Show hidden applications", If the Internet app is listed there, select the app and then tap Done button to bring it back to the Apps menu.
If the Internet app isn't listed in the hidden apps list, try to go to Settings> tap "More" tab> tap "Application manager"> under the Downloaded tab, tap the Menu key and then select "Reset app preferences". It'll re-enable all disabled apps.
