Samsung Galaxy S3: How to Show Facebook Information Ticker on Lock Screen

Facebook is one of the most popular social media available today which have lot of users around the world. That's why most of smartphone has it as pre-installed app, but not with the Galaxy SIII. If you wants to use Facebook then you should download it first through Play Store then installing it to your phone.

When you usually use Facebook, knowing the latest entries on your Facebook account is one of fun things to do. Fortunately, after upgrading your phone to the Android Jelly Bean you will be able to display Facebook information ticker on your lock screen so you can stay updated with the latest feeds from your Facebook account.


How to get Facebook information ticker on lock screen?
If you wants to display Facebook ticker on your lock screen, then follow the steps listed below:
  1. Go to Apps through Home screen.
  2. Scroll to Settings, then tap on it.
  3. Scroll to Security, then tap on it.
  4. Tap Lock screen option.
  5. Ensure you've enabled Information tickers. When the slider next to this option is on the right or shows green means the option is turned on.
  6. Tap Information ticker.
  7. Tap Content type.
  8. On pop up menu select Facebook.
  9. Press the Power button twice to turn off the screen then to turn it on again.
  10. Now you will see Facebook information ticker at the bottom of your lock screen.
  11. Tap the arrow icon in the center to show more Facebook information tickers

Once you've finished set to display Facebook ticker on your lock screen, now you can stay up to date with the latest Facebook entries even when your phone is locked.
