You can find the option to change or disable transition animation under developer option. Unfortunately, on Android 4.2 this option is hidden in order to prevent the newbies screw up the device using this option. But, of course you still be able to unhide this option to allow you accessing some options inside it.
How to enable developer option?
Here are the steps to do to show the hidden developer option:
- Go to Apps through Home screen.
- Scroll to Settings, then tap on it.
- Under System section, tap About Device.
- Scroll down to the Build number, then tap Build number 7 times to show hidden developer option.
- Tap the Back key.
- Now you should see Developer option turn up here under System section.
- Tap Home button to return to the standby mode.
Enabling developer option on your Galaxy SIII will allow you to customize some options available inside it, such as change or turn off transition animation, enable or disable USB debugging, etc. So, did you've enabled developer option on your phone? Was this option useful for you?
I was tearing my hair off looking for the options after an update - thanks.

Can you tell me How to disable it ? and also my s3 after updating to 4.3 is showing unknown number instead of name or number while receiving a call ? Please Help.

These are the answer for your questions:
1. To disable developer option in Android 4.3, go to Settings> tap More tabs> tap Developer option> Slide the switch at the top of the screen or next to the developer options to the left to disable. The switch will be grayed out as a sign that the option is turned off.
2. Unknown number on incoming calls
did it happen on all of contacts or certain contact? However, try to clear cache and clear data the Phone app through the App info or Application manager in the Settings menu. Other way, try to call your provider and see whether they could help you. Some providers sometimes need to turn on certain feature manually.
Hope this helps :)
