In addition to export contacts to SD card, in Samsung Galaxy SIII you will also be able to import contacts in .vcf file saved on your SD card. This of course will useful if you wants to import contacts in .vcf files from another source which you've already save on your SD card.
How to import contacts from SD card?
Here are the steps to do if you wants to import .vcf file from your SD card:
- Go to Apps through Home screen.
- Tap Contacts.
- Tap Contact tab.
- Tap the Menu key.
- On pop up menu select Import from SD card.
- Now you will see three options available.
- Choose Import one vCard file if you wants to import one .vcf file among lot of vcf files on your SD card.
- Choose Import multiple vCard files if you wants to import more than one vcf files from your SD card.
- Choose Import all vCard files if you wants to import all .vcf files saved in your SD card.
- Tap OK button.
- Select the .vcf file you wants to import.
- Tap OK button to confirm importing contacts.
You can also use these steps to import contacts from another source which have .vcf file format that you've already saved on your SD card. So, hope this helps :)
