Samsung Galaxy S3: How to Add New Lock Screen Shortcuts

If you've already enable shortcuts on your Samsung Galaxy SIII lock screen, once your phone is locked you will see four default shortcuts turn up there. But, if there is shortcuts that you wish not to be displayed then you can remove it easily.

Once you've deleted shortcuts, then there will be a spot that you can use to add new shortcuts to your favourites apps or the most frequently used apps. This of course will useful to helps you more easier and faster to access them when the phone is locked.


How to add new shortcut on lock screen?
Below are the complete steps to add new shortcuts on your lock screen:
  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Scroll to Lock screen, then tap on it.
  3. Tap Lock screen option.
  4. Make sure you've enabled Shortcuts option. When the slider next to this option shows green or in the right side means this option is turned on.
  5. Tap Shortcuts.
  6. If you've already deleted one of shortcuts, then you will see plus (+) icon next to the shortcuts.
  7. Tap plus (+) icon to add new shortcuts.
  8. Now you will see a list of available shortcuts of apps. Tap the required apps you wish to add.

Once your phone is locked, you will see new shortcuts of apps that you've just added before displayed there. Removing certain shortcuts then add new shortcuts of your favourites app of course will help you to save your time because it will skip some steps to access them.
