My s3 message app only allows to send message to 10 contacts only at a time...
ReplyDeleteHow to fix this issue?
HI Omer Khawaja,
DeleteThanks for the visit.
Yes, you right. You will only be able to send a message to 10 contacts using a stock messaging apps. So, if you still want to send the message to more than 10 contacts, try to use third-party messaging apps called Handcent. This app will allow you to send the message to a group with more than 75 contacts inside it.
Hope this helps :)
How do you choose to reply to All or to reply individually like you can on the S4?
ReplyDeleteHi Camille Wagner,
DeleteThanks for coming.
In the stock Messaging apps on Samsung Galaxy S3, there is a flaws that will only allow you to reply individually. Some of user suggested to use Go SMS or Handcent to get the option to reply to all.
How do you get replies to the group thread?
ReplyDeleteHi Just Me,
DeleteThanks for coming.
If you use the stock messaging apps, then you'll only be able to reply individually. If you want to reply to all, then you may want to try to use third-party messaging apps such as Go SMS or Handcent. Some of users said that they were be able to reply to all using these apps.
My S3 will not let me receive any group texts, I can send them but when my friend s reply I cannot get them. Help please!!
ReplyDeleteHi Tiffany Magee,
DeleteThanks for coming.
Can you receive non-group text message or not? Also make sure you were enable auto retrieve on your Messaging apps. To check, go to Messaging apps> Settings> MMS settings> (tick) Auto-retrieve.
Hope this helps :)
Open Messaging
DeleteClick on square with the lines on bottom left
Click on settings in choices that come up
Make sure Group Messaging is checked
Is it possible to reply to group thread/messages?
ReplyDeleteHi Jarmaine Evans,
DeleteThanks for coming.
Unfortunately, you can't do that using the stock messaging apps. Please take a look at my reply in the Camille Wagner or Just Me's comment, both of them has the similar question with you.
It won't send it - probably because its converting it to MMS. Tried installing Go SMS pro but it still converts it and wont send! ARRGH~
ReplyDeleteHi Kitty Princess,
DeleteThanks for coming.
Yes, you're right. When you're using the stock messaging apps, it's usually convert the sms to mms for a long messages. If you want to send a long message and don't want converting it to mms, then you can try BigSMS apps that you can get through Play Store. Here's the link:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=skezza.main&hl=en
Hope this helps :)
My phone won't send any group messages at all. I cannot select more than one recipient for any message. It times out and fails. Why is that? Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHi Dpfaff01,
DeleteThanks for coming.
First, try to create a new group contact. Once you finish, go ahead to Messaging app to compose a new message. Tap Contact icon to enter the recipient number. Tap the Group tab then choose the desired contact group you wish to send the message with.
However, if you don't know how to create a new contact group, feel free to visit our post about it here: http://inside-galaxy.blogspot.com/2013/06/samsung-galaxy-s3-how-to-create-and-add.html
Hope this helps :)
I know how to start a group message, but when they reply it's not a group message anymore. I'm the only one who can see everyone else's response but they can't see each others. how can I fix this?
ReplyDeleteHi xoxoyamilexoxo,
DeleteThanks for coming.
Unfortunately, one of the flaws inside Samsung Galaxy S3 is the ability to receive a reply from the group text. The reply will not be a group message anymore--as you've said-- but the reply will be individual message into the conversations on contact who sent you the message. So, I think we can't do nothing about it. Another way, you might want to use another third-party app which has better group text capability, but I have no idea which the best app to do so.
How do I leave a group conversation??
ReplyDeleteHi Tori Smith,
DeleteThanks for coming.
CMIIW, did you mean about how to start an individual conversation? Just send the desired contact a message and it will be an individual thread.
I have a droid galaxy S3. I receive group messaging individually. How am I able to receive them with in the group so that I may reply to them in the group messaging as well? Without an app tho?? If there's any possible way?
ReplyDeleteHi Nicole Torres,
DeleteThanks for coming.
I'm so sorry to say that one of the flaws of the stock Messaging app in the Galaxy S3 is the disability to receive or to reply all with group text. So, the possible way is by using another third-party apps which has the ability to do so.
my comments removed by web owner due correct information provided to the peoples they are fail to send more 10 sms at a time.

Nokia's have capacity to send a sms more than thousands contact with one check only. What is doing Samsung? There should no limitation on sms. I am going back to sell my Samsung win. bye bye.
ReplyDeleteHi Farooque Mallah,
DeleteThanks for coming here.
I believed that each smartphone or phone has their own flaws, as well as the Samsung phone. Due to lot of smartphone available today, so it'll be wise if we choose the best one which is suit with our needs. And for any reason, if you thinks that this device is not good enough for you then you're free to exchange it with another one you likes. FYI, I'm just a Samsung phone user who wants to share with other Samsung phone users, so if you wants to complain about this device, better you submit them directly to the Samsung. Who knows that they will do something to improve their device when they receive some complaints from their users.
Hi, have a problem with my S3 i am unable to send more then one page text, it comes failed. but i can send one line text.
ReplyDeleteHi Silvester Lobo,
DeleteThanks for coming.
Have you ever managed to send multiple text messages in the past? Or, it's the first time for you to send multiple text messages? As far as I know, usually this problem happens in the CDMA network(FYI, I'm on GSM network, and I have no problem sending multiple text messages at once). Other way, if you don't mind, you can try to use third-party Messaging app that will allow you to send multiple text messages(e.g: Handcent or Go SMS Pro).
