Samsung Galaxy S3: How to View Shared Contents with Nearby Devices

Samsung Galaxy SIII is a DLNA capable devices which will allow you to share media file with another DLNA capable devices which are connected in the same Wi-Fi network. You need to enable file sharing option first to allow another devices accessing your data.

Aside from as a host, you can also act your phone to access data from another DLNA capable devices which are already share their media file.


How to view shared media files with nearby devices?
Here are the steps you need to do:
  1. Go to Apps through the Home screen.
  2. Tap Gallery.
  3. Here you'll see the connected devices will be listed. Tap the desired device name to browse the shared contents.
  4. If you don't see the connected device, then refresh the devices list by tapping the Menu key then select Scan for nearby devices. Once the connected devices is listed, tap it to browse the contents.

By knowing the step, now you can easily accessing media file shared by another devices with nearby devices. So, hope this helps :)
