Samsung Galaxy S3: How to Enable or Disable Keyboard Swipe

Samsung Galaxy S3 is a great Android-based smartphone that comes with a large touch screen without a physical keyboard. Due to this reason, Samsung has pinned inside this phone a virtual keyboard to facilitate the user typing activities, such as when compose an email or text messages.

You can find several options available under this Samsung keyboard, one of them is called keyboard swipe. By enabling this option, you will be able to switch between letters and numbers or symbols by swiping the keyboard horizontally.

How to turn on or off keyboard swipe option?
Here are the steps to do so:
  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Tap Language and input.
  3. Tap the Settings (gear) icon next to Samsung keyboard option to enter the settings screen.
  4. Depending on your current settings, tap Keyboard swipe option to enable or disable this option. When the box next to this option is checked means the option is turned on.

Once you've enabled this option, now whenever you use the default virtual keyboard you just need to swipe the keyboard to switch between letters and numbers/symbols. This of course will facilitate you while using the keyboard to meet your typing activities. So, hope this helps :)
