  4. Depending on your current settings, tap Self portrait to switch between the back camera and the front-facing camera. When it's OFF means it use the back camera, while if it's ON means it use the front-facing camera.

  1. Go to Apps through Home screen.
  2. Tap Camera.
  3. Tap Camera settings (gear) icon.
  4. Tap Edit shortcuts.
  5. Now you will see a menu with 15 shortcuts of camera settings that you can rearrange the position and pick four of them to be a quick settings . They are:
    • Self Portrait
    • Flash
    • Shooting Mode
    • Auto Focus
    • Scene Mode
    • Exposure Value
    • Time
    • Effects
    • Resolution
    • White Balance
    • ISO
    • Metering
    • Auto Contrast
    • Outdoor Visibility
    • Guidelines
  6. Tap and hold icon, then drag it to edit position of shortcuts. release to placed it.
  7. To change four quick settings that you use most, hold and drag the icon over one of the existing icon then release to place it.

Reordering the most used option on camera settings to the top list will make you more easier to access them without having to scroll. Also by setting four quick icon with the icon you need most will make you more easier accessing them without having entering the settings.     • 2 sec: Choose this option if you want to let the camera count down for 2 seconds before the picture is taken.
    • 5 sec: Choose this option if you want to let the camera count down for 5 seconds before the picture is taken.
    • 10 sec: Choose this option if you want to let the camera count down for 10 seconds before the picture is taken.
  6. Tap the required timer option you wish to use. When the dot indicator next to the option shows green means the option is selected.
  7. Tap Home button to return to the standby mode.

  7. Tap the required message alert repetition option you wish to use. When the dot indicator next to the option shows green means the option is selected.
  8. Tap Home button to return to the standby mode.

By adjusting message alert repetition just once or more than once, now your phone will notify you when receiving new message and repeating the tone according to the settings you've just done. So, what's the option you use on your phone?

  7. Here you can enter the desired term or word into the field.

  9. Tap Home button to return to the standby mode.

Drawing image or text using your finger or a stylus pen on S Memo of course will give you a different experience of making a digital memo.   7. To save the note, tap the Menu key then select Save as option.

Samsung Galaxy SIII comes with several useful apps as its pre-loaded application, such as Samsung App and Google Play Store app which will allow you to find and download certain useful application then install it to your phone.

  4. Now you're on the main page of S Suggest, here you will see five tabs available. They are:
    • Picks: Tap this tab to see recommended app and selected categories. Tap a section and you can see additional recommendations by swiping your finger to the right or to the left.
    • Categories: Tap this tab to determine what categories you like, such as Entertainment, Kids, Lifestyle and Shopping, etc. Or you can Tap All to view all of the recommended apps from all categories available.
    • Games: Tap this tab to determine what type of gaming categories you like, such as Arcade, Action, Racing, etc. Or you can Tap All to view all of the recommended games from all categories available.
    • Friends: Tap this tab to see recommended apps based on what apps of your friends like. Here you will be prompt to login to your social network account.
    • Info: Tap this tab to watch introducing S Suggest and S Suggest Manual videos.
  5. To search the S Suggest library, tap the Menu key then on pop up menu select Search.
  6. When you've find certain app that interest you, you can tap the icon or banner to view the detail information of this apps. On the Detail view page, you can do several things here, such as:
    • Recommend the app by tapping the Recommend icon (thumb up icon).
    • Share the apps by tapping the Share button.
    • Download the apps by tapping Download button. This will take you to Google Play Store which will allow you to download the applications.
    • Scroll this page to see description of this app and to see comments from others about this apps.
  7. Tap Home button to return to the standby mode.

  10. Tap Attach button to add picture or video you want to attach to the message.
  11. Tap the required option such as picture, video etc.
  12. Go to the required folder where you save the picture or video files.
  13. Select the files by tapping the required picture or video file.
  14. Tap Done button.
  15. Tap Send icon to send the message.
  16. Tap Home button to return to the standby mode.
  17. Finish. Now your MMS will be send to the selected contact group.

How to transfer pictures to SD card?
Here are the steps you need to do to move the picture files to your external memory:
  1. Go to Apps through Home screen.
  2. Tap My Files.
  3. Here you will see two folders if you have an SD card installed on your phone. SDCard0 is the internal memory of your phone, while ExtSDCard is the Micro SD Card you placed in the back of your phone.
  4. Tap on SDCard0.
  5. Tap on the DCIM folder.
  6. Tap on the Camera folder. By default, this folder is used by your phone to save the picture taken by the camera.
  7. Tap the Menu key.
  8. On pop up menu select Move.
  9. Now all the picture files in this folder will have checkbox next to them. Tap the required picture files you want to move, or you can tap on Select All at the top to move all picture files.
  10. Once you've finished select the picture files, tap Move button located on the upper right corner.
  11. Now you will be taken to the two main folder as you see on the steps #3.
  12. Tap ExtSDCard.
  13. Go to the required folder to place the pictures in, or you can create new folder by tapping on Create Folder then entering a folder name.
  14. Once you have the folder to place the picture, tap Move Here button located on the upper right corner.
  15. Finish. The selected pictures now will be move to the selected folder.
