Samsung Galaxy S3: How to Go to Destination Using Navigation Applications

Once you've configured location services on your Samsung Galaxy SIII, now your information location will be available for another function in this phone, such as for navigation. You can utilizing Google maps apps inside this phone to find certain location or to plan route to certain location.

Another apps that also has navigation function is Navigation apps. This apps is integrated with Google maps. By using this apps you can get helps to navigate to certain location, get the voice guided navigation and get the route to get back to your location etc.


How to go to the destination using GPS Navigation?
Below are the steps to do so:
  1. Go to Apps through Home screen.
  2. Tap Navigation.
  3. Now you'll see four shortcuts to plan route and start navigation. They are:
    • Speak destination: You can determine your destination by speaking the required destination to the phone.
    • Type destination: Enter your destination then tap the Search icon located at the bottom right corner to get navigation to that place.
    • Go Home: Select your location as your destination.
    • Map: Use Maps apps to get to your destination.
  4. Use one of the option available you wish to use.
  5. Now you'll see the navigation windows is displayed with information about your route to the destination.
  6. The Next turn icon and the Next route detail icon will be displayed at the top of the screen and the time needed to go to the destination will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.
  7. You can follow the voice guided or instructions displayed on the screen to go to your destination.
  8. To exit Navigation, tap the Back key then press OK button.
  9. Tap Home button to return to the standby mode.
