Samsung Galaxy S3: How to Remove Number from Spam List

On Samsung Galaxy SIII there are several ways that you can do to block certain contacts so they can't send you a message, one of which is by entering the number you want to block into the spam list.

Even so, in certain condition you might have several reasons that make you want to remove the number from the spam list and allow the number to send you a message again, for instance when you accidentally have entered the number into the spam list and want to remove them from there.


How to remove number from the spam list?
Kindly follow the steps listed below to do so:
  1. Open Messaging app.
  2. Tap the Menu key then select Settings.
  3. If required, tap Spam settings option to enable it.
  4. Tap Register number as spam.
  5. Tap and hold the desired number you wish to remove from the spam list.
  6. Tap Delete.
  7. Tap the OK button to confirm removing number from the list.

By knowing how to remove the number from the spam list, now you can allow the number you have blocked to send a message to you. So, hope this helps :)

  1. I thought this was the issue I had but its not. I cannot receive a certain contact in my phone text messages. I can text them and they get it. I just dont he theirs. Also when that contact calls the screen looks like an alarm...where you can select snooze or dismiss. ....very confused. Please help!!

      Thanks for coming and I'm so sorry for late answer.
      Try to disable Spam settings option in the Messaging app settings and then see whether you'll be able to receive the message from that contact. Anyway, did you install any app to block call or text on your phone? If so, try to uninstall that app.
      FYI, I've never seen the snooze or dismiss in incoming call. However, did it happen on certain contact or all your contacts?

    I wanted to know if i remove a number from spam messages will i get the messages the person sent during the time frame they were blocked?
