  5. Hi,
I have trie all the steps above and nothing has worked.... it just tells me that connection has timed out and retry. The play store works fine on mobile data just not on wifi. I have reset the router and all other devices are working fine. The last time my phone did this I had to do a factory reset but I really dont want to have to do that again. so any suggestions would be great

    1. Hi Jacqueline Henson,
      Thanks for coming.
Have you tried to connect to another Wi-Fi network? Just to make sure that Wi-Fi on your phone has no problem.
Anyway, try to check whether the date time in your phone is not correct. Wrong date/time sometimes causes a connection time out issue when accessing Play Store.

    1. Hi Heather Schriever,
      Thanks for coming.
I'm so sorry to say I have no more idea if you have done factory reset because I always put it as the last effort. However, do you remember what have you done before you got this problem? Do you able to use another Google services(e.g: Gmail, Youtube, etc)? Have you tried to use another Google account/check the date and time/uninstall Play Store updates?

  7. Honestly, I got this phone used, supposedly brand new offline. Just got it Friday night, haven't been able to access the play store since I've had it. :( I tried uninstalling and reinstalling all updates to the phone and play store. Apparently I was ripped off! I went to verizon today and they tried everything also and said there is nothing they can do. I was hoping maybe online I can find a different way to maybeb help fix this, but no luck. I do not know what you mean by check the time, i personally have done everything else but that, not sure if Verizon tried it. Thank you so much for trying to help me out!!

    1. Hi Heather Schriever,
I'm so sorry if my previous reply didn't clear enough. Sometimes the wrong date/time can causes the "No connection" error in the Play Store so make sure the date/time in your phone is correct. In my opinion, if you can call the person whom you buy the phone with, then you can tell him the problem and ask to cancel the purchase.

    2. Oh ok, I checked the date/time, all correct. I called the guy and he claims everything was working just fine for him. He will not give me my money back, I was screwed over I guess.
