Yes, even in this generation has gained refinement and improvement of the hardware, software and features when compared to its previous generation, but it does not mean the device is free of flaws. 1. Cracked or broken screen
This phablet comes with a big screen 5.5-inch and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2, which is tough stuff. But some users reported that the device had scratched or cracked after suddenly fall. In the previous drop test, this device can get through it well. And this problem could be the proves to us that larger screen means more difficult to handle.

If you are concerned about having this problem on your phablet, for preventive measures you can start insuring your device or you can buy a case of this device which is available in a variety of choices on the market. And of course you also have to be more careful when putting or carry the device.

But if you have experienced this problem, there are several options you can do:
  • Send your phablet to Samsung for repairs.
  • Order replacement glass on a local repair shop and replace it by yourself. But before you replace it make sure that this source are reputable.

2. Wi-Fi is not connected, very slow and disconnected
Some users also report that they find it difficult to connect with Wi-Fi, had a very slow pace and disconnecting at random. In some cases, users can not access the internet though Wi-Fi in this phablet is ON. The cause of this problem vary from individual routers to setting in phablet itself.

Well, if you are experiencing this problem, try to do some of the options below:
  • Restart Wi-Fi on your phablet, but this is only a temporary solution.
  • Rebooting the device and the router.
  • Make sure the settings are correct by going to Settings-> Wi-Fi then press the Menu button again and select Advanced and make sure the option Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep is set to Always. Here you can also check whether Wi-Fi timer ON and check the your IP address.
  • Check the Smart Wi-Fi app if you use AT & T version.
  • Perform Factory reset, but it means that you have to reinstall the app and re-setting your device if you want to use it again.

3. Wi-Fi can not be turned off
This problem occurs on a Sprint customer who can not turn off Wi-Fi on their devices. Usually the cause of this problem is the Connection Optimizer.

If you want to turn off Wi-Fi on your device and experience this problem, then all you have to do is disabling connections optimizer by go to Settings-> More Settings-> Mobile Network -> Disable Connection Optimizer. But it will ON again after you reboot your device.

4. The device can not be in charge
Some reported their Galaxy Note II can not be in charge when they plug it in to the AC adapter or USB port.

Well, if you are experiencing this problem there are several things you can do to overcome them:
  • Ensure that the Micro USB port are not covered by the dust and dirt by compressed air to clean it out.
  • Reboot your device.
  • If you continue to experience this problem even if your USB ports are clean and you also have to do a reboot, then the best solution is to send it to Samsung for repair.

5. The device takes a long time to charge
Some users reported that their device takes longer to charge. Typically these devices take between 2 to 3 hours to charge fully.

If you experience this problem on your device, here's what you can try to do to fix it:
  • Make sure you use the correct 2A rated charger.
  • Try using another 2A charger if you know this is the cause.
  • If both the above solutions give you nothing, then the last step is to contact Samsung for repairs.

6. Sound while charging
Some people complained they found a hissing sound when the Galaxy Note II in charge. cause of this problem is the charger and it is normal. Maybe the sound is there because these devices suck more power.

If you are bothered by the noise, you could try to charge your devices through the USB port on your PC but this will take longer. In addition, you can also try a different charger or try to lower-rated charger that will charge your device more slower, but it will also cause noise, but not as hard as a regular charger. If you still feel disturbed by the sound of it, it might be better if you charge your devices in another room so that it will no longer bother you.

Six problem I wrote above is a common problem reported by Galaxy Note II's users. May be out there many other issues going on and have not been reported yet. So if you experience another problem that not listed here yet, so I'm very happy if you are willing to share it through the comments below :)
