Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge: How to Enable or Disable Show Button Shapes Feature in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

By default, your Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge displays buttons without shaped background which make them have no difference with other options/menus. But, if you have updated your phone to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, you can turn on the show button shapes feature to make those buttons become more stand out by displaying them with shaded background.

How to enable or disable the show button shapes feature?
You can turn on or off this feature by using the following steps:
  1. On any screen, swipe down the top of the screen to open up the notification panel and then tap to go to the settings menu.
  2. Scroll down the screen to find Accessibility and then tap it. FYI, when the direct access feature is enabled and the accessibility option is selected, you can quickly access the accessibility menu from any screen simply by pressing the Home key three times to open up the direct access menu and then tap Accessibility.
  3. Tap Vision.
  4. Scroll down the screen. Depending on your current settings, tap the ON/OFF switch next to Show button shapes to enable or disable this option. When the switch turns blue means the show button shapes feature is enabled and your phone will show buttons with shaded background to make them stand out.
