5. The message has been deleted.
6. Tap Home button to return to the Home screen.

5 things to do to manage ROM
Here are some steps that you can do to manage your Samsung Galaxy SIII internal storage:

1. Check the internal storage availability from time to time.
   Check the ROM availability regularly by going to Settings> Storage, then see if the storage space is running or if necessary do some steps as listed below to free up some space on the ROM and avoid the ROM being filled quickly.
2. Clear the internal storage regularly.
   Make sure the internal storage has some space enough or at least over 150MB for Android 4.0 by clearing the storage at least once a week to keep the operating system work well. Delete some files is the possible way to do, such as:
• Delete unnecessary text or multimedia message.
• Move pictures, video or other files to your computer or other external storage.
• Delete call logs.
3. Set the phone to automatically clear the storage.
• Set the text message limit to delete old message.
• Decrease the frequency of the email sync to download only for past three days.
4. Manage Applications.
• If you encountering errors after installing apps, then you may have to consider to uninstall them.
• Clear apps cache and data.
• Uninstall unused apps.
• Move the stable apps or apps that not use the notifications bar or apps that sync online to the SD card.
5. Set some apps default storage to the SD card, such as set the pictures have been taken by the camera to the SD card or set to save downloaded files to the SD card.

What the differences between internal memory and internal storage?
Below are some differences:
Internal Memory

• Also known as RAM or Random Access Memory.
• Use to store running apps and open files.
• It's a short term memory so whenever you restart or turn off the phone or stop running apps or files then they are no longer in memory.
• Low internal memory will causes close apps, slow down the device and causes errors.

Internal Storage

• Also known as ROM or Read Only Memory.
• Use to store app data and the operating system files.
• It's long term memory so all saved information or data will still in there even you restart or turn or the phone or stop running apps or files.
• Low internal storage will causes error when saving or reading saved files and in some case it will also causes the apps not works properly.

Samsung Galaxy S3: How to Enable the Disabled Applications

Uninstall some unused apps is one thing that you can do to free up your phone's memory. Unfortunately, for certain apps you may be unable to uninstall them. In this case, disable apps is a methods that you should consider to do. This methods will causes the app hide from the menu list, not perform updates, can't run, can't use any resources and can't be called by other apps.

For the record, this methods is not the same with uninstall apps because the apps is still on the phone's memory so later you will be able to enable them again if you want to use them.


How to enable the disabled apps?
If you wants to enable the disabled apps, then kindly follow the steps listed below:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap Applications manager.
3. Tap All tab.
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen, usually the disabled apps will listed there and labelled as disabled.
5. Tap the desired apps you want to enable.
6. Tap Enable button.
7. Finish. The apps has been enabled and the enable button will replaced with the disable button.

Once you've done these steps, now the apps will be shown in the menu list and you will be able to use it again. This apps also will be able to be called by another apps and use any resources. So, hope this helps :)

How to disable apps?
For your note, please do this steps only to disable user apps. Well, here are the steps to do:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap Application manager.
3. Find the desired apps by swiping to the appropriate screen: Download, Running or All.
4. Tap the desired application.
5. If the apps was updated, first you have to uninstall the update in order to be able to disable it by tapping Uninstall updates button.
6. Tap OK button to confirm uninstalling updates.
7. Once the uninstall process is completed, the apps will reset back to its original condition and you'll be taken back to the Application manager.
8. Tap OK button in confirmation windows.
9. Tap again in the apps you wish to disable.
10. Tap Disable button to disable apps.
11. Tap OK button to confirm disabling apps.
12. The apps has been disabled.

Once you've done the steps, you'll notice that the disable button was replaced with the enable button. Now the apps will no longer listed on the apps menu, not perform updates and any RAM used by this apps is now available. FYI, this steps only disable the apps not uninstall the apps so the apps is still on the device memory and you're able to enable this apps again later.
