Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge: How to Make a Private Call in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

By default, your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge will show your phone number in outgoing calls. If needed, you can set your phone to hide it so you can make private calls when you have to make a call but don't want the one you call knowing your phone number.

How to hide your phone number in outgoing calls?
You can do so by using the following steps:
  1. Open the Phone app.
  2. Tap More at the top right and then select Settings.
  3. Tap More settings.
  4. Tap Show my caller ID and then select Hide number.
  5. Now, your phone will hide your phone number in outgoing calls so your call will be private.

Please note that in some models, this feature may be disabled or unavailable. Thus, if you cannot find this feature in your phone, you can use the hide number code that you can get from your service provider as the alternative way to hide your phone number in outgoing calls.
