Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge: How to Enable or Disable Call Status Tone Alerts in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

If needed, you can enable call connect tone and/or call end tone alerts in your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge so you can easily know when your call has been connected or disconnected by hearing the provided tone.

How to enable or disable the call status tone alerts?
You can turn on or off this feature by using the following steps:
  1. Open the Phone app.
  2. Tap More at the top right and then select Settings.
  3. Tap Call alerts.
  4. Tap the ON/OFF switch next to Call connect tone to enable or disable this option. When the switch turns , means the call connect tone feature is enabled and your phone will play a tone when your outgoing call is connected.
  5. Tap the ON/OFF switch next to Call end tone to enable or disable this option. When the switch turns , means the call end tone feature is enabled and your phone will play a tone when your active call is ended.
