Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge: How to Enable and Use Split View Feature in Messages App in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

If needed, you can turn on the split view feature in the Messages app in your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge to have your phone divides the screen in this app becomes two so you can view the conversation list and the messages within the selected conversation at the same time while holding your phone in landscape view. It comes handy if you often need to easily move from a conversation to another to read/reply/forward a message because you don't have to tap the Back key each time you do so.

You can turn on or off this feature by using the following steps:
  1. Open the Messages app.
  2. Tap More at the top right and then select Settings.
  3. Tap More settings.
