If you access the battery menu while you're charging your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with component and wireless charger that support fast charging, you can enable the fast wireless charging feature so you can charge the battery faster using a wireless charger when the phone or its screen is turned off. While this feature is enabled, the fan inside the wireless charger will operate and may produce noise.

How to enable or disable the fast wireless charging feature?
You can turn on or off this feature when you're not charging your phone's battery by using the following steps:
  1. On any screen, swipe down the top of the screen to open up the notification panel and then tap to go to the settings menu.
  2. Scroll the screen to the very bottom and then tap Battery.
  3. Scroll the screen to the very bottom and then tap the ON/OFF switch next to Fast wireless charging to enable or disable it. When the switch turns blue means the fast wireless charging feature is enabled and you can charge your phone's battery using a wireless charger with more quickly when your phone or its screen is turned off. While, when the switch turns gray means the fast wireless charging feature is disabled and the standard charging feature will be used instead.
