Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge: How to Use People Edge Feature to Communicate with My People in Android 5.1.1 Lollipop

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has several features that will let you easily and quickly communicate with your favourite contacts, one of which is the people edge feature. When you have enabled this feature and added your favourite contacts to My people, you can easily and quickly call, send text or email messages to them from the edge screen regardless the screen or app you're opening, in condition that you have set the edge screen handle to be displayed in all screens.


How to call, send text or email messages to My people?
You can do so by using the following steps:
  1. To open the edge screen, drag the edge screen handle towards the centre the screen. By default, the handle is located in the right edge screen and displayed in all screens.
  2. If the edge screen displays the apps edge at the first place, you have to swipe across the screen again to access the people edge.
  3. Tap an icon of the required contact you want to communicate with.
  4. To call the selected contact, tap .
  5. To send a text message to the selected contact, tap .
  6. To send an email message to the selected contact, tap . As a note, this icon will be available if the selected contact has an email address.
