How to change the edge screen notifications?
You can do so by using two different methods: from the settings menu and from the edge screen settings.
Method #1: From the settings menu
You can change the edge screen notifications via settings menu by using the following steps:
- While the screen is unlocked, swipe down the top of the screen to open up the notification panel and then tap at the top right to go to the settings menu.
- Scroll down to the Device section and then tap Edge screen.
- Scroll down the screen and then tap Edge screen notifications.
- Here you're provided with these following options:
- Missed call: tap this option to enable or disable it. When the switch turns green means this option is enabled and your phone will light up the edge screen when you receive calls and display missed call notifications on the edge screen when the edge lighting or people edge is enabled.
- Messages: tap this option to enable or disable it. When the switch turns green means this option is enabled and your phone will light up the edge screen when you receive incoming text messages and display missed text message notifications on the edge screen when the edge lighting or people edge is enabled.
- Email: tap this option to enable or disable it. When the switch turns green means this option is enabled and your phone will light up the edge screen when you receive incoming email messages and display missed email message notifications on the edge screen when the edge lighting or people edge is enabled.
Method #2: From the edge screen settings
You can change the edge screen notifications via the edge screen settings by using the following steps:
- Drag the edge screen handle towards the centre of the screen to open up My people or Edge apps list. FYI, the edge screen handle is displayed in all screens by default.
- Tap to go to the edge screen settings.
- Scroll down the screen and then tap Edge screen notifications.
