Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge: How to Enable and Use Quick Reply in Android 5.0.2 Lollipop

Edge lighting is a feature in Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge that works by utilizing its edge screen. When the edge lighting feature is enabled and your phone's screen is facing downwards, you can use the quick reply feature to automatically reject incoming calls and send a rejection message to the caller by placing and holding your finger on the heart rate sensor for 2 seconds.

How to enable the quick reply feature?
You can set up this feature by using the following steps:
  1. While the screen is unlocked, swipe down the top of the screen to open up the notification panel and then tap at the top right to go to the settings menu.
  2. Scroll down the screen to the Device section and then tap Edge screen.
  3. Tap Edge lighting. If Edge lighting is off, tap the ON/OFF switch to turn it on. The switch turns green when it's enabled.
  4. Tap Quick reply.
  5. Slide the ON/OFF switch to the right to enable the quick reply feature. The switch turns green when the quick reply feature is enabled.
  6. If needed, you can edit or change the default rejection message by using these steps:
    • Tap the message under the Quick reply messages section.
    • Type the desired message you want to use when rejecting calls using the quick reply feature.

How to use the quick reply feature to reject incoming calls?
When the quick reply feature is on and your phone is turned over, when an incoming call arrives, place your finger on the heart rate sensor (it's located below the flash at the back side of the phone) and hold it for 2 seconds. Your phone will automatically reject the call and send the rejection message to the caller.
