Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge: How to Change the Edge Screen Handle Position in Android 5.1.1 Lollipop

When you want to access my people or apps edge list in your Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, you have to drag the edge screen handle towards the centre of the screen. By default, the handle is located at the top of the right edge screen. However, when needed, you can change the handle position on the edge screen to another location for easier access.

How to change the edge screen handle position?
You can do so by using two different methods: from the settings menu and from the edge screen settings.

Method #1: From the settings menu
You can change the edge screen handle position via the settings menu by using the following steps:
  1. When the screen is unlocked, swipe down the top of the screen to open up the notification panel and then tap at the top right to go to the settings menu.
  2. Scroll down the screen to the Device section and then tap Edge screen.
  3. Scroll down the screen to the Additional settings section and then tap Edge screen position.
  4. Tap and hold on the edge screen and then drag it to the required position to change the handle position.
  5. The edge screen handle position has been changed.

Method #2: From the edge screen settings
You can change the edge screen handle position via the edge screen settings by using the following steps:
  1. Drag the handle on the edge screen towards the centre of the screen. By default, the handle is displayed in all screens.
  2. Tap to go to the edge screen menu.
  3. Scroll down the screen to the Additional settings section and then tap Edge screen position.
  4. Tap and hold on the edge screen and then drag it to the required position to change the handle position.
  5. The edge screen handle position has been changed.

As a note, since the edge screen settings icon and the handle are located in a straight line, when the handle position is changed, the edge screen settings icon position will automatically be changed too.
