How to add a pause into a contact for auto dialing extensions?
As the example, say that you're going to call your friend at his company. Your friend's company phone number is 1234567899 and the extensions is 231. You can set your phone to automatically call the extensions by adding a pause and the extensions number after the regular phone number by using the following steps:
- Open Contacts app.
- If needed, tap the Contacts tab to view your contacts list.
- Tap the required contact.
- Tap to edit the selected contact.
- Tap the phone number field to edit it and display the on-screen keyboard.
- Tap and then tap to insert a pause or comma(,) after the regular phone number.
- Tap and then enter the extensions number.
- Now, your friend's phone number will look like this: 1234567899,231
- Tap Save button to save the changes.
- Tap next to the phone number to call the contact.
- When the call is accepted, your phone will automatically call the extensions number after waits for 2 seconds.
When dialing number with pause for extension from contact is fine, but in log it shows only initial number instead of contact hence if we have to redial need to go to contact again. How to resolve the issue

DeleteThanks for coming.
Yes, you're right. The call log only shows the phone number without the pause. If you often call a number with pause and don't want to waste your time to find it within your entire contacts list, there are two alternative ways that can be taken so that you can call a contact with pause with more easily and quickly:
1. Add the contact with pause to the speed dial so that you can easily call this contact simply by long pressing the speed dial number in the Phone app.
2. Add the contact with pause to the favourites list so that you can easily call this contact simply by single tapping the contact in the favourites list.
