How to add a new city to the Accuweather widget?
You can do so by using the following steps:
- Tap the Accuweather widget in your home screen.
- Tap
to add a new city. - Key in the city name in the search field and then tap
to start searching. - Tap the required city from the search result list.
- The selected city has been added to your Accuweather widget.
- Press the Home key to go to your home screen.
- To see the weather conditions in other cities you have added to the widget, swipe the Accuweather widget up or down.
How to remove a city from the Accuweather widget?
You can do so by using the following steps:
- Tap the Accuweather widget in your home screen.
- Tap
to see all of cities you have added to this widget. - Tap
or long press the Recent apps key to open up the additional options and then select Delete. - Select the required city you want to delete.
- Tap Done button.
- Tap OK button to confirm.
- The selected city has been deleted from the Accuweather widget.
I have added a city that I cannot delete from my list almost as if it has become a default. I visited it once and have no immediate plans to visit it again yet I can't remove it even after resetting my device. What do I Do?

Did you receive any error message when deleting that city from the list?
However, you can try performing clear cache and data for the weather widget to reset the widget back to default as you installed it at the first time by using the following steps:
1. Go to the settings menu.
2. Scroll down the screen until you find "Application manager" and then tap it.
3. Swipe the screen to the leftmost to access the "All" tab where you can find the list of all installed apps.
4. Scroll down the screen until you find "Weather" and then tap it.
5. Tap "Clear cache" button.
6. Tap "Clear data" button followed by tapping "OK" button.
7. Press the Home button to go to the home screen and then you can set the weather widget again.
I have a Galaxy Note 5 and the latest AccuWeather App. TO DELETE locations... open the cities list by tapping the 3 bars in the upper left corner, select "edit list", swipe over the unwanted city with your finger or thumb from screen edge right side to screen edge left. This was the only way I could manage to delete unwanted cities.
