How to enable or disable auto night detection in the Camera app?
By default, this option is disabled so that you need to activate it first before using this feature. You can use one of the following methods to turn on or off this option.
Method 1: From the more options
- Open the Camera app.
- Tap to view more option.
- Tap the Night mode icon to enable or disable auto night detection. When the night mode icon is displayed with this icon means the auto night detection is enabled, while if the night mode icon is displayed with this icon means the auto night detection is disabled.
Method 2: From the Camera settings menu
- Open the Camera app.
- Tap the Menu key and then select Settings.
- Under the Camera tab, scroll to the bottom, tap Auto night detection and then select On to enable this option or select Off to disable this option.
Given to its function, best use this feature if you want to get a picture with a better quality when you take pictures at night or in low-light environment without using the flash. As a note, this option only works in the camera mode.

ReplyDeleteThis still didn't work for me. It still has the anti shake feature grayed out. I don't have any flash either.
Hi Tammy West,
DeleteThanks for coming and I'm sorry for so late answer.
Did you make any change before encountering this issue?
However, if you don't mind, can you please send me a screenshot of your issue(where the anti shake is grayed out and no flash option)?
You can send them to: rehanp2001@gmail.com
Also, don't forget to mention the model number of your phone.
