How to set mobile data limit?
You can do so by using the following steps:
- On home screen, tap the Menu key and then select Settings to go to the general settings menu.
- Tap Connections tab.
- Tap Data usage.
- If needed, tap Mobile tab.
- If the mobile data is off, tap Mobile data to turn it on.
- Check the box next to Set mobile data limit to enable the data usage limit feature.
- Set the data usage warning limit.
You can set your phone to remind you about the data usage when the specified data usage warning limit is reached. For example, if you have set it to 3,5GB then you'll be warned when you have used 3,5GB of data. You can set the data usage warning limit by using one of the following ways: - Tap on the right side of the graph and then drag it up or down to adjust the data usage warning limit to the required one.
- Tap the orange line within the graph to allow you manually set the data usage warning limit in megabytes level and then tap Set button.
- Set the data usage limit.
You can set your phone to automatically disable the mobile data when the specified data usage limit is reached. For example, if you have set it to 5GB then the mobile data will be disabled automatically when you have used 5GB of data. You can set the data usage limit by using one of the following ways:
As a note, when you have reached the specified data usage limit, you'll receive a pop-up window to tell you that the mobile data will be disabled. If needed, you can re-enable the mobile data to continue using mobile data by tapping the Re-enable data button in the pop-up window. But, you have to remember that you may have pay additional charges when you re-enable the mobile data after the specified limit is reached.
