Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge: How to Enable Surround Effect in Music App in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

Surround is a sound effect available in Music app in Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge that you can use to improve your experience when listening to the music with a headphone or a compatible Bluetooth headset. When this sound effect is enabled, your phone will recreate the effect of rich surround sound to create a reverb-like effect when playing music as if you're listening to the music in a room.

How to enable the surround effect in the Music app?
Assuming that you have connected your phone with a headphone or a compatible Bluetooth headset, you can turn on this feature by using the following steps:

  1. Open the Music app and then play a song you want to listen to.
  2. Tap More at the top right and then select SoundAlive.
  3. Tap the ON/OFF switch next to Surround to enable or disable this effect. When the switch turns means the surround effect is enabled and your phone will recreate the effect of rich surround sound when playing music.
