Samsung Galaxy S5: How to Change Signature in the Stock Email App in Android 4.4.2 Kitkat

By default, the stock Email app gives the same signature, "Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone", for all email accounts you have added to this app. The signature will be displayed at the bottom of your outgoing email messages. If needed, you can change that default signature with your own signature which contains your personal information or any other information you want to include in your signature.

How to change signature of an email account in the stock Email app?
FYI, if you have multiple accounts then you have to change the signature separately since each account has their own signature. Use the following steps to change the signature of an email account in the stock Email app:
  1. Open the stock Email app.
  2. Tap or long press the Recent apps key to open up the additional options and then select Settings.
  3. Tap Manage accounts. All of email accounts you have added to the stock Email app will be listed here.
  4. Tap the required account you want to change its signature.
  5. Tap Signature.
  6. If Signature is off, tap the ON/OFF switch to turn it on.
  7. Tap Edit signature.
  8. Now, you can enter your own signature here. As the example, you can create your own signature by including your name, phone number, or other information you want to include in your signature.
  9. Tap Done button.
  10. The signature of the selected email account has been changed.
