How to enable and configure the daydream feature?
You can do so by using the following steps:
- On any screen, swipe down the top of the screen top open up the notification panel and then tap to go to the settings menu.
- With the settings menu is displayed in grid view, scroll down to the Sound and display section and then tap Display .
- Tap Daydream. If the daydream is off, tap the ON/OFF switch to turn it on.
- Here you can select the required daydream from the following options:
- Colours: select this option if you want your phone displays the colours change effect as the screensaver.
- Desert case: select this option if you want your phone displays the Easter egg animation of Android 4.4.2 Kitkat as the screensaver. This option will be available if you have revealed the hidden Android 4.4.2 Kitkat Easter egg animation.
- Flipboard: select this option if you want your phone displays your personalized magazine as the screensaver. If needed, you can set how your phone updates the news in Flipboard by tapping next to Flipboard and then tap Download new items automatically and then select from: Only on WiFi, Always or Never.
- Google Photos: select this option if you want your phone displays a slideshow of the selected photos in the device and in the selected Google account. If needed, you can manually select which photos will be displayed as the screensaver by tapping next to Google Photos and then select the required photo albums in the device and in the Google photos.
- Photo Frame: select this option if you want your phone displays a slideshow of the photos on the device as the screensaver. If needed, you can manually select which photos will be displayed as the screensaver by tapping next to Photo Frame and then select the required photo albums in the device.
- Photo Table: select this option if you want your phone displays the scattered photos on the table effect as the screensaver. If needed, you can manually select which photos will be displayed as the screensaver by tapping next to Photo Table and then select the required photo albums in the device.
- If needed, you can see a live preview of the selected daydream by tapping the Preview button at the bottom of the screen.
- Done. Now, your phone will display the selected daydream as the screensaver when your phone is connected to a desktop dock or charging.
