Burst shot is a shooting mode that is available in the stock Camera app in Samsung Galaxy S5 and is designed to let you take a series of photos of moving subjects. By using this shooting mode, you can capture up to 30 photos with a single touch. But, you have to remember that burst shot photos will continue to be saved in the device storage even if you have
set your SD card as the default storage in the stock Camera app.
How to enable burst shot in the stock Camera app?
You can turn on this shooting mode by using the following steps:
- Open the stock Camera app.
- Tap to open up the detailed settings menu.
- Tap Burst shots to enable this shooting mode.
- A window will appear to tell you that burst shot photos will be saved in the device storage. If you wish to not see this window again, check the box in the left side of Do not show again. Tap OK button.
- The burst shot mode has been enabled.
How to take a burst shot photo?
When you have enabled burst shot mode, now you can use it to take a series of photos of moving subjects. See the following steps as the example:
1. Open the stock Camera app. By default, auto will be used as the shooting mode.
2. Aim the camera to the subject.
3. If needed, you can change the focus point by tapping the screen where the camera should focus. When the subject is in focus, the focus frame turns green.
4. Tap and hold
to take a burst shot photo. You can keep holding the camera icon to let the camera takes photos continuously up to 30 photos, or if needed you can stop taking burst shot photos by releasing the camera icon.
5. Burst shot photos will be saved in the device storage.
