Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge: How to Adjust Screen Brightness in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

If needed, you can manually adjust the screen brightness in your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge so you can fit it with your need, as the example, you can set it darker while you're using your phone in low-light environment or when your eyes are sensitive with light, you can set it brighter while you're using your phone in outdoor or under the sunlight, etc. If needed, you can also set your phone to automatically adjust the screen brightness using its sensor based on the remaining charge in the battery if you want to save more power because it'll reduce the maximum brightness of the screen so the screen will consume less power.

How to adjust the screen brightness?
As the example, we'll do so by using two different methods: from the notification panel and from the settings menu.

Method #1: From the Notification panel
  1. On any screen, swipe down the top of the screen to open up the notification panel.

  3. To adjust the screen brightness manually, slide the screen brightness adjustment bar to the left for a darker screen, or to the right for a brighter screen.
