    • Yahoo! news feed: enable this feed to display real-time news from Yahoo! webpage on the edge screen.
    • S Health feed: enable this feed to display your daily steps information on the edge screen.
    • Yahoo! Finance feed: enable this feed to display information about your favourite stocks on the edge screen. If needed, tap to add, delete, or rearrange your favourite stocks.
    • Yahoo! Sport feed: enable this feed to display information about your favourite teams on the edge screen. If needed, tap to add, delete, or rearrange your favourite teams.
  6. If needed, you can download more feeds from Galaxy apps store by tapping Download and then follow the on-screen instructions to complete this step.
  7. If needed, you can change the order of the enabled feeds by tapping Reorder and then drag one of the to the left or right.
  8. If needed, you can adjust the time when your phone should wait before turn off the edge screen automatically by tapping Edge feed timeout and then select from the following options: 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, or 10 minutes.
    As the example, if you set the edge feed timeout to 2 minutes, your phone will automatically turn off the edge screen after 2 minutes of inactivity.


How to use the edge feeds feature?
You can easily access your selected feeds from the edge screen by using the following steps:
  1. While the main screen is off, swipe your finger along the edge screen and back in one quick motion to turn on the edge screen.
  2. Swipe the edge screen to the left or right to view the feeds you have enabled in advance.
  3. If needed, tap the required feed on the edge screen to open it in the appropriate app. As the example, if you tap the Yahoo! sport feed, your phone will automatically open the information about your favourite team from the Yahoo! webpage in the Internet app.
    FYI, if you use a screen lock type with secure lock settings(PIN, pattern, password, fingerprints, or direction lock), you have to perform your screen lock before the selected feed can be opened in the appropriate app.

You have to unpin a pinned app if you'd like to be able to navigate away from the pinned app. As the example, we'll unpin the Gallery app that we have pinned before by using the following steps:
  1. Tap and hold the Back key and the Recent apps key at the same time.
  2. Swipe your finger on the lock screen and then perform your current screen lock type. As the example, if the screen lock type is set to PIN, enter your 4 digit PIN numbers to continue unpinning the pinned app.
    FYI, this step has to be done to unpin the pinned app if you enable ask for PIN before unpinning option in advance.
  3. The Gallery app has been unpinned and now you can navigate away from this app.
