How to rearrange home screen panels?
When needed, you can change the order of the home screen panels for easier access by using the following steps:
  1. On the home screen, pinch the screen using two fingers or long tap on an empty area to go to the edit screen.
  2. Swipe the screen to the right or left to find the home screen panel you want to change its position.
  3. Tap and hold the home screen panel and then drag it to other location to change its position.
  4. The selected home screen panel has been moved to other location. To change other home screen panels position, repeat from the step #2.

With the always on display(AOD) feature, now you just need to glance at your phone each time you want to check your latest notifications(number of missed calls and text messages) and other information(date/time, calendar, battery percentage, or image) without you have to wake the screen. Those notifications and information are clearly displayed on the standby screen and easy to see, but keep using the minimum brightness so you don't have to worry that it'll drain your battery even when you set to use this feature a whole day. But, you have to remember that the AOD feature will not be displayed if the night clock feature is enabled and will also be disabled automatically when the battery level is below 5%.


How to set the always on display (AOD) feature?
You can do so by using the following steps:
  1. On the Home screen, tap Apps to go to your apps list.
  2. Find Settings and then tap it to go to the settings menu.
  3. Scroll down the screen to find Display and then tap it.
  4. Tap Always on display.
  5. To enable the AOD feature, slide the ON/OFF switch to the right. The switch turns blue when this feature is enabled.
    * Alternatively, you can quickly enable or disable the AOD feature via the quick settings panel by swiping down the top of the screen using two fingers and then tap Always on display button. The button turns blue when it's enabled.
  6. To set the schedule of the AOD feature, do as follows:
    • Tap Time settings.
    • To set the time when your phone has to start displaying the AOD feature, tap and hold the time(hour, minute, AM/PM) and then drag it upwards or downwards to adjust the start time. Alternatively, tap the time(hour, minute, AM/PM) to input the start time using the virtual keyboard and then tap Done button to save the changes.
    • To set the time when your phone has to stop displaying the AOD feature, tap and hold the time(hour, minute, AM/PM) and then drag it upwards or downwards to adjust the end time. Alternatively, tap the time(hour, minute, AM/PM) to input the end time using the virtual keyboard and then tap Done button to save the changes.
  7. To show the clock on the standby screen, do as follows:
    • Tap Content to show and then select Clock.
    • To change the clock stye, tap Clock style and then select the required one you want to use.
    • By default, the clock will be displayed without background image. But, you can set your phone to display the clock with the background image by tapping Background image and then select the required image you want to use.
  8. To show calendar on the standby screen, do as follows:
    • Tap Content to show and then select Calendar.
    • To change the calendar style, tap Calendar style and then select the required one you want to use.
  9. To show image on the standby screen, do as follows:
    • Tap Content to show and then select Image.
    • Tap Image and then select the required one you want to display on the standby screen.


How to use the always on display (AOD) feature?
If you have set to display clock from 7AM to 8PM, during these hours, your phone will display a low-light clock, battery percentage, date/time, and number of missed calls and text messages(if any) with or without background image when the screen is turned off.


If you have set to display calendar from 7AM to 8PM, during these hours, your phone will display a low-light calendar, battery percentage and date/time when the screen is turned off.


If you have set to display image from 7AM to 8PM, during these hours, your phone will display the selected image when the screen is turned off.

Night clock is a feature in Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge that will let you use the edge screen as a clock at night while the main screen is turned off so you just need to glance at your phone to easily check the time. You can set the clock to stay on up to 18 hours. But, the clock will be disabled automatically when the battery level is below 15%.


How to set the night clock feature?
You can do so by using the following steps:
  1. On any screen, swipe down the top of the screen to open up the notification panel and then tap to go to the settings menu.
  2. Scroll down the screen to find Display and then tap it.
  3. Scroll down the screen to find Night clock and then tap it.
  4. To enable the night clock feature, slide the ON/OFF switch to the right. The switch turns blue when it's enabled.
  5. To set the time when your phone has to start displaying the night clock, tap and hold the time(hour, minute, AM/PM) and then drag it upwards or downwards to adjust the start time. Alternatively, tap the time(hour, minute, AM/PM) to input the start time using the virtual keyboard and then tap Done button to save the changes.
  6. To set the time when your phone has to stop displaying the night clock, tap and hold the time(hour, minute, AM/PM) and then drag it upwards or downwards to adjust the end time.   7. To change the night clock position, scroll down the screen, tap Night clock position and then select Right side or Left side.


How to view the night clock?
