How to disable notification of the stock Messaging app?
FYI, this step may make you miss important alerts and updates of the stock Messaging app. To disable the stock Messaging app notification, you can use one of the following methods:


Method #1: From the app menu
  1. In home screen, tap the Apps icon at the bottom right corner of the screen. It'll bring you to the apps menu.
  2. Find the Messages icon.
  3. Tap and hold the Messages icon and then drag it to the App info icon located at the top of the screen. It'll bring you to the App info screen of the stock Messaging app.

    • Never timeout: select this option to make your device always visible to all nearby Bluetooth devices.

  2. Turn off the flashlight
