You can combine a tripod and self-timer to have a better inclusive group photo or a group selfie photo with your family and friend, or even your own photo when you don't have someone around you to take your photo because you can use the delay to get yourself in the frame. If needed, you can also set your phone to take multiple shots when using the self-timer so you can get the best result.

How to adjust the self-timer in the Camera app?
By default, the timer is set to off. Thus, you have to set it first before you can use it. Well, since the rear and front cameras have their own timer settings, as the example, we'll adjust the timer of the rear camera by using the following steps:

  1. Open the Camera app. By default, it uses the rear camera with the auto mode.

  5. When the first photo has been taken, your phone will take the second and third photos after a few seconds. You can use this time to correct or change your pose.
  6. Tap the preview thumbnail to view your photo in the Gallery app.
