S Memo app in Samsung Galaxy S4 lets you secure your important memos, either text or
handwritten memos, with password to avoid unauthorized users accessing your memos. When a memo has been locked, everyone has to enter the password to open, share, export, rename, edit or delete the memo.
How to lock a memo in S Memo app?
You can set a password for a memo to secure it by using the following steps:
- Open S Memo app. All of your memos will be displayed here.
- Long tap the required memo to open up the options and then select Lock.
- Enter a password to lock the selected memo two times.
- Tap OK button.
- A padlock icon will appear as a sign that the selected memo has been locked.
As a note, without entering the password, the locked memo will stay locked and unfortunately there's no way to retrieve the password. Thus, to avoid forgetting your S Memo password, it'd better if you write down the password somewhere else safe so that you can use it when you forget your S Memo password.
