Samsung Galaxy S4: How to Restore Memo Using Backup File in S Memo App in Android 5.0.1 Lollipop

Importing a backup file using the restore option within S Memo app is one of the ways that can be taken to retrieve your memos in case you lose them for whatever reason, e.g: when you have accidentally deleted your memo, when you have performed clearing the S Memo data procedure, etc. You can use this way if you have ever backed up your memo to your SD card.

How to restore memo using a backup file in S Memo app?
You can import a backup file in your SD card to the S Memo app to retrieve your memo by using the following steps:
  1. Open S Memo app.
  2. Tap the Menu key to open up the S Memo menus.
  3. Scroll the menus to the very bottom and then tap Backup and restore.
  4. Tap Restore from memory card.
  5. Navigate to the SMemoExports folder in your SD card. All memo backup files (.snbkp files) will be listed here.
  6. If you have some backup files, select the latest backup file. FYI, backup file name usually contains with the date and time, as the example: SMemo2_backup_06292015_172634.snbkp means this file was created on June 29, 2015 at 17:26:34.
  7. Tap Done button.
  8. The selected backup file will be imported to the S Memo app.
